Amy Topshee has been a physiotherapist in the Truro area for over 10 years and has just opened her own space in the Eastern Tides building on Pleasant St.
Amy graduated with a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University in 2009.  She previously attended St. Francis Xavier University achieving Bachelor of Science Degrees in both Human Kinetics and Human Nutrition.

Since 2009, Amy has been a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and the Orthopaedic and Women's Health Divisions.  Amy has completed a number of physiotherapy courses, including courses that focus on movement impairment syndromes, preventing running injuries, acupuncture, functional dry needling, and many pelvic health courses.

Amy began practicing yoga in university and has been a certified yoga teacher since 2006.  In 2007, she became a Thai Yoga Massage practitioner.  Amy practices both of these in her spare time and also enjoys when aspects of these holistic modalities can assist in treating her physiotherapy patients.
